Samsung in-built Music App does not detect music on memory card

I have some mp3 music on my memory card but the in-built sansung music app doesn't detect it. The app only detect the songs in my download folder. I cant add a new folder or anything because of the limited options. Is there a way to fix this or does anyone have any suggestions of another app I could use and just delete that one (not google play music app because it seems I can only play the music on the app and I'd already wasted money brefore I realised.) The only was I can play the music on my memory card is to go to files > sd card > music and play the songs one by one.

Sorry I can't help with the stock app . If you get the chance try out Power AMP. It's very customizable . I've been using it for about 5 years now .

Neutron music app will play Everything! Try it. The sound is Clear and loud also.
