Might be a silly question but with over 1500 songs in my iTunes library, will I be able to transfer those into my Galaxy 5???

I have itunes on my pc.

You can use Windows Media Player to transfer any media from iTunes to your s5.

And if you connect the s5 to a USB 3.0, the transfer is really fast.

You can choose to transfer the media to your SD card, or to internal memory.

Media Player also automatically converts different formats so they will play nice with your phone.

I don't know the answer concerning apple computers, this is my experience with Windows.

If you have a mac, get the android file transfer app on the mac. When you connect the galaxy to the mac it will automatically start the app and you can transfer between the 2.

Google Play Music can import your entire iTunes library. You'll have cloud access and the ability to store locally on your device. Worked great for me!

X2 for Google Play Music. You can even continue to use iTunes on your desktop, as any new music bought on iTunes will automatically upload to Google Play Music.
