A friend bought a Samsung S5 that is an SM-G900.
The IMEI and ESN on the sticker don't match what is in the phone. Inside the phone says IMEI is 111111111111111/1 and ESN is 0123456789ABCDEF.
Doesn't recognize a phone number nor a network.
The build number is kot4h.g900deku1ancc and the custom build version is kot49h0715. I haven't found these builds anywhere.
The device is recognized by the computer when plugging into USB but if you look at memory it only say. 1.5 of 1.7 GB available but is 16GB device and I have wiped it several times.
I have tried taking it back to non rooted firmware but neither Kies nor Odin recognize the device as being attached. They both recognize my S4.
So, what does everyone think? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I think my buddy got taken for a ride but wanted to check here first.
