Why can't I install apps directly to the SD card in my Galaxy S5?

When I try to install new apps I am getting an error message saying in this case :- error while downloading Music Player Audio Player" there is insufficient space on this device I have the 16gig version but with a 32gig sd card why can I not install the app directly onto the sd card

I'm not certain about this answer but maybe you are supposed to download the app on the phone first and then transfer it to the SD card.

Go into Settings >> Applications >> Application Manager. Not all of the apps there can be moved to the SD card, but I found around 1GB worth on my phone that could. Pick an app and see if the "Move to SD card" button is enabled or not. If so, you can move it. I think there are also some apps that let you move stuff. Not sure if they can move additional apps or not though, but it's worth a try.
