Move "emergency call/alternative password" text elsewhere

Hi, I just got around to using the fingerprint option on my S5 after owning it for months lol. So far I love it but why is there the ugly "emergency call/alternative password" text elsewhere? I mean why in the world did samsung put it right in the middle of the screen? There's space to move it towards the bottom. I know it's just a lockscreen but it looks hideous!! Is there any way to move it or remove it without rooting? And if the only way is rooting how would I do that after rooting my phone?
