GS5: Where's "hands free mode"?

My GS3's hands-free mode was perfect. One touch and all my texts would be read to me.
Now, with my GS5, I can't seem to get the text to speech thing to work right.
I've resorted to a app called Jarvis that I have to open, go to settings, check Sound Enabled, then close just to hear my texts.

Any hints/tricks?
