I have a 2015 Acura RDX and recently got a Samsung Galaxy S5 from Sprint. The S5 paired with the RDX's hands free link (HFL), but will not link to the Acuralink server. Has anyone had any success connecting an S4 or S5 from Sprint to Acuralink (or Hondalink - I believe they are the same technology).
Has anyone had success connecting with a rooted Sprint S4 or S5? If so, please provide instructions and what "root" software provided magic that enabled the phone to connect to Acuralink (or Hondalink). FYI, the RDX does not have the new Acuralink Next Generation, which is only available on new MDX and TLX models. My question is for the Acuralink first generation.
