• Fixed an issue where some users saw a memory card error

I got this update too. I was really bummed that it wasn't for Lollipop. Seems to have only made very minor changes that are not apparent in the UI. Hopefully Lollipop isn't too far behind. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Hmmm, that appears to be different than the message that I got on my 4.4.4 upgrade back in Sept, 2014.

my phone has not had any new upgrade since 9/2014

5.0 will NOT be released until sometime in 2015, and I would really be surprised if it happens before March.

Okay, I just went into Settings and did a System Software Upgrade check.

Sure enough, one is available. I took a couple screenshots to show the steps.

First though, I am going to find out "what is changed".........

I followed the link to find out "see more online" and didn't get anything worthwhile there. I clicked on the PDF file and got a Error 400 message: "Bad Request"....

hmmmm

I saw 3 options for this update, never gave me that before.
1. No thanks
2. Download later and you set a clock timer
3. Download now.

I' going to wait and see how the other Verizon users report on it.

I like what I read about their SRA, Software Repair Assistant.

That utility can restore the phone back to the way it was before it got bricked (bricked to what extent is a guess).
