I was an Apple user (iPhone 6) and the camera still sucked so I finally made the switch to a Samsung Galaxy S5. Trying to figure out why when I text my iPhone buddies their text don't show up on my Samsung (Droid) Galaxy S5 - Even if I send it from my Samsung their reply still comes to my iPhone even though it doesn't have a Sim card.

Please help! Gary

Two things need to happen.
1st Turn off imessage on your iPhone and that will stop that app from capturing your messages. (You might want to turn off messages totally)
2nd your friends with iPhones need to have theirs set to send mms if imessage fails. This should solve your problems.

Just to clarify, imessage is not carrier service dependant and is quite happy using WiFi and the text goes through the apple servers.
