Why is my Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) not showing up in Odin v3.09?

For some reason my Galaxy S5 isn't showing up in Odin, I've tried installing USB drivers, reinstalling them, running Odin as admin and disabling my anti-virus software. It just doesn't seem to show up when I connect it to my PC in download mode. Any help would be appreciated.

Try using another USB port when connecting the device. Sometimes that helps.

Otherwise, uninstall then reinstall Odin and start fresh - hopefully that'll fix it.

Try a usb2 lead. Odin don't like usb3 and connect direct to a us port not a hub. If still no joy- let me know as I got a link somewhere for u to try that i used when I had same problem. Hope helps. Merry Xmas.

im experiencing this problem and i have tried the above and my s5 is still not appearing
