Why can't iPhone's see emojis I send from my Samsung Galaxy S5?

Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 Emojis - iPhone can't see them!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 from Verizon. My girlfriend has an iPhone. I use the Samsung Stock Messaging App. I can see the emojis she sends, but when I try to send one, she can't receive any of the message. What can I do?

Not much, unless you can find an app that sends iMessage (iPhone) emojis. (An emoji is just a couple of text characters that the app interprets as a particular emoji, like most apps and programs interpret : ) [without the space] as a smiley. If you're sending character sets that iMessage doesn't use, it can't turn them into pictures.)

Weird though, I'm on S5. My brother is on iphone and we both exchange text messages with emojis. Works fine for both of us

Try going to settings>messages>text messages>input mode and check "automatic" . This kind of let's the emoji be "translated" by whatever receives it.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and don't see where to change the messages to automatic in settings.

I'm having the same problem but my OH is also running android. I can see his emojis but he can't see mine!!

I'm wondering that myself too and they're upset and angry with you letting her I'm trying to send messages to my friend in their lives in Texas and they're good not seem any of my messages on his crappy iPhone on there like text messaging email voice messaging and therefore messages return at the heater getting nothing to me at all and then I'm going to buy crappy iPhone that's the case and then we're still stuck with my samsung s5 phone switch switch to the switch in there in 2016 for the s7 phone 2016
