S5 Active Going SLOW

I've had my GS5 Active since they first came out in June. I've never had a problem up until the past couple days. It's dogging, badly. Really, really, slow, especially when texting in the basic Samsung texting app. I've moved as much as I could from the HD to the SD card. My memory keeps jumping all over the place. Screen shots to show you what I mean. One second it shows this:

The next this:

Note the Misc. Files jumping several gig. Any ideas/recommendations?

It might be time for a complete factory reset and clearing of the SD Card. Backup everything to your desktop, including the internal/external SD cards, and sync your accounts. Factory reset then restore only what is needed, including the contents of your SD card.

Let us know how things go after you perform that.

If you don't want to perform a reset, then go into system settings > applications > sort by all > messaging (look for the text messaging app) > clear cache.
