I have two Galaxy S5 phones.
My first one works great, the Qi receiver and pad combo that I bought on the cheap, works like a jewel.
Then I got a 2nd S5 for the wife last month for Christmas. Ordered up another combo pack, but I think I erred in buying it off of eBay... even though the guy offers to make the deal good, it is only $19.99
shipping both ways would eat that up in a hurry.... so I just wrote that one off.
Since my S5 works great on both of the charging pads, but hers does not, it would work with my pad "most of the time"..... I deduced (important concept
) that it is probably the internal Qi receiver card in hers that is bad.
So, I have ordered up another one tonight, this time off of Amazon.... I also needed to get a window mount for my S5 for the car, so added that in.
low and behold, about an hour after I sent that order in, the wife says "My DirecTV remote quit"....
Took about 30 seconds to notice that the battery holder is broken..........
hmmmm, wonder if I can add that to the order? Nope......
so I cancel the order.........
wait wait wait, then the email comes in, "your order has been canceled".....
Reorder my S5 car mount, reorder up her two spare direcTV remotes.....
then I added on the Qi wireless receiver wafer card,
Wow! Free shipping got me the Qi wireless card for free.........
