Why is my phone getting the message sending failed when trying to forward emails?

While at home, I need to forward e-mails using my phone. I get a message saying "sending failed" whether using wifi or data.

you need to provide us with a detailed history of what apps are involved, how are you forwarding, if doing to another app?

it is all too easy to have a blank space at the end of an email address and that will cause a "failure to send" everytime.

I always use the backspace key to verify the last character of an email address, even if I erase the 'm' on '.com'
just retype that 'm' and then hit SEND
