How to turn off alert tone when back of phone is covered?

I recently purchased a Samsung S5 and a phone wallet cover with it.

When the phone wallet is open and bent around to the back of the phone (and the back of the phone is covered), an annoying alert tone sounds.

Does anyone know what this is and how to turn it off?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have any credit cards in the cover, like in an inside pocket? If so, a credit card with an NFC chip embedded might be sensed by the phone's NFC chip when the cover is folded back, and that can cause a notification tone.

Thanks for that B. Diddy and yes that appears to be the issue. Is there any way of turning off the notification tone (apart from removing my credit card from the wallet)?

Actually thanks - worked it out.

Just turned off Near Field Communication in Settings.
