I got the exactly same phone, operator, providor, contract, - you name it - as my daddy and brother. Contracts signed on the same day, phones recieved on the same day.

But I'm the only one that got the Lollipop update.

Strage?

Updates are released in stages. That way servers aren't overloaded and if the update causes problems for the phone than it can be stopped instead of all the phones being affected. Rest assured.. they will get the update.

I certainly won't be hitting the update button when it shows up. I might take me 6 months before I felt like doing this to the S5.

From the owner of a N5, N7 and N9 running Lollipop with a decidedly mixed bag of experiences.
