Abysmal battery life

I updated to lollipop on my gs5 and woke up at 6 this morning and it was at 100% and now 4 hours later it's at 35 anyone have a solution

First try a cache wipe. If you don't know how to do that search the recent threads for discussion on how to do that. That has worked for some people. I had to do a factory reset to fix my battery.

I know how to do a cache wipe I'll do that when I get home probably my best option

I had the same issue - Phone Hot, and loosing battery super fast. I did a cache wipe and then did a battery pull. Phone seems to be back to normal-ish battery use. Hopefully that fixes it for you too!

I did cache wipe first and didn't fix anything for me, but factory reset completely did the trick and I'm back to normal post lollipop upgrade.

My wife and daughter S5 are fine. Both have no fast battery drain. That was the 1st thing I checked after the update.

Did the cache wipe and pulled the battery everything's better so far but damn was I pissed this morning
