How do I get my microphone working after the Lollipop OTA?

Microphone not working after Lollipop OTA

Updated to Lollipop last night Verizon OTA, "ok Google" not working further investigating the mic will not pick up at all in any application. I did a factory reset did not work, rebooted in recovery mode and cleared the cache, did not work. Any ideas out there?

Phone under replacement warranty + problem not fixable after 5 minutes = "please repair or replace my phone". If a reflash of the update doesn't do it they'll probably replace the phone, so make sure everything is backed up to something other than the phone (at least an SD card).
