Welcome to Android Central! Can you give more details, please? Is the phone brand new? Did you just install the Facebook app, and are trying to log in? Does the phone come with Facebook preinstalled?

Try going to the App Manager, select Facebook, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now try again.

Did you recently update to lollipop? If so, did you restart the phone, clear cache, pull the battery, or do a factory reset afterwards?
