Why are the contacts on my Samsung Galaxy s5 different colors after the Lollipop upgrade? I can see no reason why they are different colors. I would like to know what each color represents and if you can change the colors.

Yesterday, my phone updated to Android 5.0, and now my color theme in contacts is this ugly green with yellow text. How can I change this color?

The easy thing to do is add an image to each contact.

As far as the green and yellow colors I have found no way to change that.

The Lollipop color scheme is what it is... it's liked by some and hated by others. However, it is possible to make some minimal color changes.

The varying colors of the contacts is not random on my phone (Galaxy S5).
Each time I add a contact it selects the next color in the sequence...
Blue, Green, Orange, Orange
Blue, Green, Orange, Orange...

It just looks untidy in the Contacts list, and I see no way of changing it - apart from adding a contact a few times until it's the color you want, and deleting the unwanted ones. You could also create some simple color pictures to assign to each profile picture (if you don't have their photo)
