Help with disabling car mode

Hi can someone please help me I'm trying to turn off the car mode on my s5 I turn it off by pulling down on the main screen and deselect the car mode symbol. But every time I get in the car it comes back on with my Bluetooth .I want to deactivate it completely could somebody please help as this is driving me mad many thanks

When you open DriveMode app, there is a setting botton on top right corner which gives you different settings choices, and one of that is the "auto mode" on/off switch. Did you try turning that off? The switch on the home screen that you mentioned is to manually turn on/off for one time. Personally I leave it as auto on, with few phone numbers added to the Allow List, which is also managed within the settings. Hope it helps.
