Sending text to multiple contacts

Hi i have just updated my s5 to the latest android version 5.0.2 and i have a very annoying problem that im hoping someone can help with?
Ok so i go into messages and click the green circle in bottom right hand corner and the next screen is where you enter recipients and your message, i start by typing the 1st person i wish to add and his name comes up and i add him to the recipient list thats all fine but i cant find a button or anything to add another contact?? the only way is to delete the number of the recipient that pops up under his name and start over again! i have never come across this in any phone in the last 5 years and even this phone before the update? its very annoying and time consuming hoping someone can help? thanks

Which model of Galaxy S5 do you have as some of the carrier minority variants have their own messaging apps and not the stock Samsung one.

Right... you have the Galaxy S5 LTE-A, G901F model which I am not familiar with firmware wise as it does differ from the international Galaxy S5, G900F. It is important in your posts to point out that you have this variant of the Galaxy S5 as incorrect information could brick your phone.
