My S5 has been acting strange and showing that it is charging when it is not.

Sometimes the phone will not charge, so I tried an assortment of different phone charges and they all didn't work.
A reboot will often fix this, and there are some times where I can charge it to 100%, although the phone will also turn off randomly sometimes.
One of the strangest things is my camera light in the back of the phone. It is sometimes constantly on. Even if turn the phone off, or plug it into the wall, the light stays on; the only thing that fixes it is a battery pull.
I made sure I used the original charger as well, and I still have the same issues.
I am thinking of doing a factory reset to see if the problems persist.
Any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! Very odd behavior. Try wiping the system cache partition: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10404. If that doesn't help, then try booting into Safe Mode to see if the problem is being caused by a 3rd party app: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10696
