Need to beam address book from palm visor to Galaxy S5

I have indicated the beam process from the palm visor. I have the quick connect screen actively searching for a connectable device on the S5, but the green indicator light for "quick connect" is not lit up on my phone. Both time out saying that they find no available devices. I am not sure that I have "activated" or turned on the quick connect correctly.

15 yrs of business contacts and info needing to be transferred to updated technology. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

1. On the Palm, export the contacts as a .vcf or .CVS file.

2. Transfer the file to a computer for upload. Be sure to make a backup copy.

3. Login online to your Google (Gmail) account. Import the contacts file to the Gmail contacts. This gives you an online backup and makes restoring or transferring contacts to a new device super simple. And you'll never lose your contacts.

4. Contacts should automatically sync to the S5.

You are done. Be sure to always save additions/deletions/edits to your contacts to your Google account.

Android since v1.0. Linux since 2001.
