Galaxy S5 makes home internet slow when phone's wifi turned on

Hi

Network is:
- Netcomm NB604N ADSL router with WiFi disables
- Linksys EA6500 WAP (in bridge mode)
- Yealink W52P VOIP handset

Both the Linksys and Yealink are connected to the network switch on the Netcomm as well as a PC via Ethernet

Strangely when I turn the WiFi on on my S5, the internet latency (measured by pinging google.com from my PC goes up to the point the internet becomes unusable. See ping results below. My iPad can youtube with no problem

I'm not sure why the S5 would make the home internet speeds slow down. However, have you tried resetting the router to see if that helps fix the problem?

Happens everywhere I go too lol. My friend always tells me to turn off my phone cause I'm sucking up all his wifi
