I am giving my Galaxy S5 to my partner with most of contacts numbers - How do I change my gmail account which I signed when purchased this phone and wish to use same account for MY new phone

Please help I need to use new phone

Welcome to the forums. After you backup the device, you can either sign out, or reset the device. When you get your new phone, you just sign in with the same Gmail that is on the S5 now.
