Contact Widgets Disappear from Home Screen

T-Mobile forced an updated to my Samsung 5 Android last evening. Now the Contact shortcuts created by the Widgets have disappeared from my home screen. I created them again they sat there for a few hours and then disappeared, now I'm creating them for the third time.
Anyone with this problem? Is there nothing to do but keep re-creating them?
****Loved my phone...Samsung forced the updated a month or so ago and now I hate it...battery drain, problems as described above, slow response to texting, it is infuriating.

Same problem here... like every time I reboot they are gone, or even just outta the blue.

I TOO HATE the T-Mobile updates, completely mess up the phone in many other ways... Plus, mine updated lie 5 times... each time successful but each time telling me I needed (what looked to be) the same update again... and this after a good cache wipe.

Anyway, I got "caught" at a dinner one night adding my "contact shortcuts" back on my phone.

Wife: "must you be messing with that now here?"

me: "I'm adding YOUR shortcuts back to my phone again cuz this update deleted them again!!!!"
