I started having battery problems about a week ago when my phone fully discharged and turned off.
I had started seeing the "!" when trying to charge the phone. After some unsuccessful troubleshooting, my phone started charging normally again.
Then the charging problem resurfaced with some weird behavior whenever the charger was connected. The charging would work normally and then stop at random intervals even when the phone lay at rest untouched.
Now, the phone won't charge normally at all and plugging in the charger only slightly delays the battery drain, but worst of all every time the phone is turned off it will restart automatically. I could even remove the battery and as soon as it's plugged in the phone begins to turn on.
How do I even prevent that from happening? Why does it try to turn on automatically?
Worst of all, now I have absolutely no way to charge the battery while the phone is turned off (which seems to be my only option).
