My new Galaxy S5 won't swipe to turn on, why?

My new galaxy s5 won't swipe to turn on

I have had my phone now for 4 days, and not a problem, now when I try and swipe it to turn on, it just shuts off?

Have you recently received a system update? What happens if you swipe in different directions on your lock screen?
