Why my Galaxy S5 doesn't turn on and keeps booting over and over again?

Greetings,
I own a Samsung Galaxy S5 since May last year and it worked fine until yesterday. I was on Snapchat taking a snap and suddenly de phone blacked out and turned off. I tried to turn it on normally and the phone just shows Galaxy S5 logo, vibrates and after it blacks out and starts to do it over and over again without turning on...
I tried removing battery put it on the charge cable and placing battery again, and eventually the phone turns on again, but 5 minutes after I take off the cable it just turns off again and restarts without turning on, doing the same thing over and over again...
What should I do to fix it? Is it a common problem?

Sounds like a bad battery, or, it drained so low that you'll need to leave it on the charger for a while. Plug it in to the charger and leave it alone for a few hours, or until it's fully charged.. then see what happens.
