Samsung has announced that it has started rolling out the latest Android security update patch for February to its major flagship models.

I am inclined to say, probably not... but who knows, they may work it into later releases of Marshmallow.

Vulkan on the Samsung Galaxy S7 is potentially a very big deal

If you are on the Marshmallow, Android 6.0.1, firmware for the Global, G900F, Galaxy S5 model, you already have the February security patch. See screenshot...

Verizon S5 update.... Sadly not Marshmallow

The security patch for the Verizon model, G900V, would seem to indicate that they are at least 2 months away from issuing Android 6.0.1, Marshmallow. See post #4.

The security patch for the worldwide, international, model, G900F, on Android 5.0 are rolling out on release PC3. No changelist increase, so, just a security patch.
