Glaxy S5 Weird- Battery Says Not Charging-Occasionally Charges

A few days ago my phone would only charge occasionally. I tried numerous chargers. However my issue got stranger because my phone always says it isn't charging but will charge VERY slowly occasionally and if plugged in the battery doesn't drain. But the number changes very randomly. Does this sound more like a battery issue?

Welcome to Android Central! A battery issue would be fairly easy to diagnose--just try a new or different battery. If the same thing happens, then it could be the charging port, or possibly something with the motherboard.
