Help with swipe text messaging issues!

I just did the update on my Galaxy S5 and now when I swipe a word in a text message and it's not the one I want it and I go to delete the word it only deletes the first letter and before it deleted the whole word unless I had already moved onto the next word. HELP

Hi

Try Entering Recovery, and Wipe Cache Partition, see if that helps. No data loss will occur. If that doesn't help, then you'd probably need to do a factory reset of the device, as it would appear that something was corrupted during the update, this happens often. I always to a factory reset after each update. Be sure to BACK UP YOUR DEVICE, if you elect to do the FFR.
