Saved, Secured on Open Network
I've seen a lot of responses to the android "saved, secured" problem, but all of them have password and encryption on their networks. I am trying to connect to a network that is open. It started with the Samsung Galaxy S5 and I was due for an upgrade anyway so I assumed that would solve the issue. I got the HTC10 and the issue persists on the new phone. My other devices (old phones and tablet) seem to connect just fine. I can't seem to find any answers as to why only MY phones are having this issue. I've tried everything from changing settings (power saver wifi, auto switch, messing with location services, turning on Airplane mode etc etc) to restarting the phone, all with no joy. I do not have access to the router unfortunately, but it seems to me that it must be a problem with the phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and ask anything you may need.
Edit: The network is unsecured, but redirects to a sign on page.
