My apps aren't listed in the Play Store

I factory reset my device (no reason in particular aside from just feeling like doing so) and now when I go to the app store to update my apps, manually (I prefer doing it that way) nothing shows up. The only thing that shows up are 3 apps. 2 of them, I searched for on the app store and installed and then the Youtube app, I searched for in the store and tapped update.

So only those three are showing up on the "my apps" list. I know for a fact that all of my other factory installed apps need updating so why don't they show up in the app store in the "my apps" section? Any ideas?

I don't want to turn on auto update. I want to do updates manually. But I can't do that since the installed apps aren't listed on the "my apps" section. have Marshmallow, btw.

Thanks.

I don't have an answer other than to state that, with all the security flaws discovered on a regular basis, not allowing apps to auto-update will bite you in the a$$ sooner or later.
