It would be nice if Verizon updated their own actual firmware and not just their Google security patch. Verizon are still on the old, (May, 2016), changelist #8025411, whilst most of the Global branded/unbranded models are now on #9493471 with all its bugfixes and enhancements.

Since Verizon's updates are released by them and not Samsung, you need to be on the Verizon network to update OTA, Over The Air. Alternatively, you can download the firmware, when it is up, and flash it via Odin as per the links and video in #1.11 of 42 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide

It works. Thanks! I can see the updated build number under "About phone". But, I cannot see the updated build number under "System updates". I guess it's because it was not updated through OTA.
