"Application not installed" for apps on SD card when phone boots up.

Hi everyone.
I've had the Samsung Galaxy S5 for almost 1.5 years and I'm starting to run into issues with SD card storage.
I have a Class 10 Micro SD XC 64GB card installed on my phone and use the official Samsung settings app to move apps across to save space on the internal storage.
When I boot up my phone, the app icons are gone and replaced with Android SD card icons. When I tap the icon, it says "Application not installed" and takes me to the Play Store.
After what feels like an eternity, the app icons return and I'm able to use the app like normally.
Are there any solutions for this problem? I've already tried removing the SD card and using the Error Checking feature on my Windows computer, that hasn't changed anything.

Re: "Application not installed" for apps on SD card when phone boots up.

The applications, widgets and data on the SD card won't be available until the SD card has been mounted during startup. It may be that the mount process is taking place a lot later than expected in the startup sequence possibly because something else is taking longer to complete.

I doubt that there is anything physically wrong with the SD card though.
