Disabled Samsung Print Service

A

AC Question

I disabled Samsung print service on my Galaxy S6 Active (fully updated with latest ATT update). Disabling it caused a short freeze and then the screen went black, then it returned to normal. I also disabled many other apps and this did not happen with them. It would happen no matter how many times I renabled it and disabled it. I exchanged the phone incase it was a defect that might creep up in the future.

The second one I got did this once after disabling Samsung Print Service. But not a second time. Did not feel like testing anymore.

I also checked a phone at the ATT store and it did not do this at all. It may be because my phone had the latest update or because the app was stopped at the time. Not sure.

But, since this happened with two phones, do you think I should worry about it? I would assume there is a good chance it could happen on a third one. It only happens with Samsung Print Service and does not appear to have any effect on any other aspect of the phone.

What do you think? Nothing to worry about?

I don't think I would worry about it too much. If you think it can cause problems, you can always re-enable the app, force stop it, and then never open it again.
