I haven't seen any pictures taken with this phone. Let us know what kind of camera mode you used as well, i.e. pro, auto, etc.

Went through the S6e thread and found this post mentioning an app to check if the accelerometer is broken. It will show if you X and Y axis is stuck when you rotate the phone.

Everything is turning on my phone. If I go into gallery the photos rotate, go into email it rotates like it should same with watching videos.

I'm wondering if it's bc I took the photo with the phone up and down, instead of sideways like normal.

Also I remember the G4 having this issue when trying to share pictures it would rotate them.

Yep. The G4 I had turned every pic I uploaded sideways. Considering going with the Note 5 or S6E+. This isn't a complete deal breaker and the photos, although sideways, look fantastic.

If the photos are displaying properly on the phone, then it's not a hardware issue. The software is supposed to embed an orientation tag into the EXIF header of the image, which is then read by the image viewer. It could be that they just aren't displaying properly here in the forums, in which case it's probably something to do with the forum software or the app you're uploading from. It's most likely stripping off the EXIF metadata, which is where the orientation tag is kept. If you really want to make sure it's not a hardware issue, download some photos to your computer and load them up in a program like Lightroom (which does a good job of reading the EXIF data to display an image in the proper orientation).
