How loud is your phone speaker?

I'm coming from the Note 4, which had an internal phone speaker that could be turned up very loud. On my new Edge+ (which I love by the way) I have the volume set to maximum and it's just right for normal conversations outside. I would have expected the volume to be at two-thirds or a little higher at this level. On the other hand, the external speakerphone is very loud in comparison. This may be normal for this model though. It's certainly not a deal-breaker for me, but I thought I would check with you guys to see what your experience has been. Thanks.

Coming from a Nexus 6, which had front facing speakers and we're very loud, this phone as you stated needs to have the volume near maximum to get any real output. I really hate that it's on the bottom. It seems to get in the way, and you find yourself muzzling the sound even more depending how your holding it. DEFINITELY wish they would try the front facing speakers. I'm not sure why no one other than Motorola wants to try this.
