Recently, within the last week, my S6 Edge PLUS has been overheating and restarting. I went to my music and I noticed about 100 numbered .wav files that I know for a fact I didn't download. Is there a correlation between these events?

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried playing any of the .wav files? They might be related to some app you installed. If the directory where the files is stored doesn't have a ".nomedia" file as well, then the music apps will include those files in its database--that's why you usually see your ringtones in the music list as well.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I was thinking at first. But when I try to play them, it says the player doesn't support that file type. Recently my phones been overheating while off of the charger and I didn't know if it mightve been a type of malate making my phone download an excess of files, thus heating it up really quickly.
