S6 Edge Screen Protection

You're doing the Edge?

Posted via S5 or Turbo.
For now. Couldn't pass up the pretty phone. However, I'm getting a little nervous about it - hearing about a lot of them that are showing up with scratches all over the screens. Kind of bothers me. If this falls through, it's either regular S6, M9, or Nexus 6.

I got the spigen full body protector and it works great. Its a wet install but it covers the whole screen and it looks amazing. Totally would recommend it!

Is it really clear? Can you tell its on your phone when the screen is on?

because I bought the Kollea screen protector off amazon for my galaxy s6 edge and it coveres the full screen but the quality is not good. It is not invisible and I can tell I have a screen protector when I turn on the phone because you see a million little dots on the screen.(best way I could describe it).

I just went to AT&T and saw both of them. The Edge is a sexy beast. I think it's feels better in the hand than the S6 does.

I doubt a large amount are showing up scratched, however I would not worry so much, a quick trip or Phone call to the carrier and they will replace the defective one rather quickly...

Yeah I don't care about scratches or any visual defect. They'll just send me a new one. I do hope the software is working properly though and I get decent battery life.

I received the Klear Cut ones, and they are going right back to Amazon. The image clearly gives the impression that it covers the entire screen, it does not. As for the Illumishield they won't be here until Friday which is not a good thing so now I need to order one for Tuesday, grrrrr.

So I guess its the spigen one that I didn't want to waste money on.

What do you dislike about the Spigen protector?

For those asking about the Illumishield screen protectors you can save your money, they do not cover the entire screen only the non-curved sections. Mine are going back to Amazon. I had to order Skinomi Front/Back kits last night and was able to select 2 day shipping and get them tomorrow so I will have something until the Amzer Tempered Glass arrives in a few weeks.

How did you order the Skinomi ones? I can't get them on Prime.

Has anybody ordered, received or installed these? They seem to rate really well and appear to cover the entire front of the phone.

I have one coming on or before Friday. I'll be sure to post a quick review to the community.

Ordered it this past weekend with Amazon prime. It is being delivered tomorrow for me. Hopefully its actually clear. I ordered a cheap 3 dollar one from amazon and it covers the full screen but it is not fully clear and makes the screen look bad. So hopefully this one is actually clear.

I have always liked Zagg's products. Not quite ready for market yet, but lifetime free replacements if they ever come loose.

Well, I ordered the wrong ones, I ordered Note Edge and not S6 Edge so I opened one since I didn't bother reading and couldn't figure out why it was way too big. Now I tossed one out, have an extra that isn't worth returning since I would lose $6 in return shipping on a $9.95 item. Just not worth it.

So I had to order a different case since I wasn't happy with my choices and now I am caseless, screen protectorless and my phone is sitting on y nightstand being charge. It will no action until Thursday since my case will be here tomorrow and I can hit up the AT&T store for a bodyguardz screen protector $20 minus 25% discount.

I look forward to the Amzer tempered glass getting here in May.

Ugh, that sucks! I ordered some of the wet Spigen ones, but they won't be in until Tuesday at the earliest. I'm going to go to AT&T and/or Verizon today and see if I can get something. I don't care if I over spend and it's a piece of junk, as long as it protects the screen for a little while. I just can't imagine using a phone this expensive without protecting the screen.

It also looks like Spigen has a curved dry protector now, so I ordered one of those, too. Not Prime, so it won't be in until next week, but this may be what I'm looking for. http://www.amazon.com/Protector-Spi...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4339384

You also may want to look into the Cellbee protectors. Also not currently available, but only $10 and the regular S6 version gets great reviews on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4339384

I bought the Skinomi screen protector and put it on my phone last night. Its pretty good. I think im going to stick with this one until a tempered glass one arrives.

Its a wet install and some little bubbles are left that are supposed to disappear in a few days.

As of today all the bubbles are gone but you can still see the texture of the screen protector and im not sure if its a fingerprint underneath or what.... but hopefully it goes away.

I might be used to having a tempered glass screen protector the last few years that this Skinomi screen protector doesnt impress me. Its not 100 percent invisible like a tempered glass screen protector.

I am going to keep this one though until a tempered glass one comes out. And im not sure about paying 40 bucks for one either. I'll probably wait until they are like 20 bucks.

Just can't beat a tempered glass. I just had the bodygaurdz one put on at AT&T. It's ok. Just bubbles and stickier feeling than glass for sure.
