I don't think they were sold out until 5/1, the gold in either the S6 or S6 Edge in any storage option have said ship date 5/1 since the page became active.

In other words they are sold out, that is way you see a ship date for 5/1, I will be having mines on 4/10, the early bird gets the warm.

The gold ones have always said 5/1, I believe you mean you're getting an S6 or S6 Edge, but not in gold.
