Question regarding email on the Edge:

Please forgive me if this is a silly question but I am trying to figure out if I have to use the Google email app to view google email?

Meaning, can I "pull" the google email through the native samsung email app?

When I try to, it just tells me to use the Google email app.

If not, can you guys recommend a good email app?

Any email app should be able to set up your gmail account. The default for email may be the GMail app, so you mmay want to go to Application manager, find GMail and hit the Clear defaults button. Then the next time you do something that requires an email app, you'll be asked which app to use, and if you want that app to be use always (which will set the default to that app) or only once. (There are also apps, like Default App Manager, that make it easier to set and unser the default. [They send you to the same place you'd go manually, but you don't have to remember where that is - you just run the app.])
