Swiftkey Usage

I want to use Swiftkey but the emoji portion of the keyboard lags so hard. Has anyone else encountered this?

I only have the S6 (not the edge) but it seems to work fine for me. It isn't butter smooth but there definitely isn't any major lag. I have no problem selecting the emoji. Maybe try a data clear of the app from the application manager? If all else fails I would notify Swiftkey. May be a bug on the Edge.
