Home Button - Wont exit apps (Only)

Long story, but i just received my 3rd S6 Edge replacement for the rotation problem, now a new problem. The home button will not exit applications. I know the button is working cause outside of Apps it works without problems, like leaving menus and returning to the home screen.

But if I am in a application, the home button will not exit the app. Non of them.

A double tap launches the camera, long tap "google now" - all works.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Reboot fixed the issue. I pulled the trigger to quick on this post.

Reboot your phone and then immediately launch a "safe" app such as GMail or Chrome. Does it work correctly now?

If so, try to figure out if running any particular app causes the Home button to fail for all later apps. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be related to running a specific game or other app in full immersive mode.

Simple reboot fixed it. I jumped the gun on this request for help. Thanks for the input.

But remember what I said above. If the problem returns, it is almost certainly related to a specific app.
