The carrier and store (e.g.best buy) insurance are a rip off... let's see $8 per month ($168 over two years) then $150 deductible?

Square trade is $99 up front for two years and $75 deductible.

I don't use them either but if I were gonna get insurance it would probably be with them.

Kills me someone purchases a $800 phone and can't pony up the $7/month insurance for it. Rediculous

I have never had a time where I said "I wish I had insurance" so paying $7 a month to line someone companies pockets seems useless to me.

Wow crazy!

I left my phone in the rice overnight (not in the sun though). Now, today I just hold the power button and it turn on!! Everything is working good so far like before. What a miraculous turn of event!!! :D

Do you guys think I should exchange it at the Samsung store though (incase something might act up in the future)?

Nice! Happy the rice worked for you.
