Samsung Wireless Charger LED not lighting? HELP

Just bought a black Samsung wireless charger. I plugged it in at my office. Its charging but the halo isnt fully lighting up? Just a lil blue light in the front is lit? I have seen pictures of the whole halo lighting up blue when charging and green when fully charged. I can't even tell by the LED lights if its charging since its on my desk and I am looking down at it... only my phone's red lil light on top light lets me know its charging..

Is mine defective? I've seen people complain the halo LED light is too bright and mine only lights up blue a little in the front. please let me know. Thanks in advance guys!

Mine only lights up at the front. You can see the light more clearly when the room is fully dark.

Thanks RN50! quick question! When I googled the pad.. I saw some that actually lit up blue on top where you sit it down and it looked really cool! mine only slightly lights up blue in the front. Are there different Samsung versions? I want the glossy looking one that lights up on top... I am not talking about other wireless chargers.. this one looks identical to mine but its glossy on top and in addtion to the halo/ring on the sides, the top ring also lights up blue! anyone know why?

mine came in a samsung box blue and black with plastic in the middle. and mine looks like this.

why is there this green simple box floating around and why doesnt mine light up blue on the top? sorry just curious cuz I like that one more!

Strange never seen mine light up in the middle, I'll check it tonight again when it's dark though.

Its doesn't really bother me if it didn't light up though as its a rubbish wireless charger and I got it from free anyway. You could try returning it and getting a different one to check though.
