Charger overheating, is this normal?

Charger overheating

hi newbie here

got my s6 edge about a month ago-ive noticed using the fast charger that came with it that it gets very hot whilst charging

the phone is fine it just the charger-then when its reached 100% th charger cools down

is this normal or shouldi ask for another charrger

Make sure the charger is sitting on a flat surface. Do not put it on things like a bed that are cushiony. I found if the top edge is not exposed it overheats.

thanks will make sure it is and give it another go

last night i unplugged it and it was making a buzzing sound for a while
