s6 edge will only charge with wireless pad. What's the fix?

The phone won't recognize or charge with the cable. I sent the phone away for repair only to get a response from Bell saying the issue is not covered under warranty and is unrepairable. When I received the phone back I found out it will still charge with the wireless pad I bought. What are my options?

I would query their response, if the phone is faulty it should be covered in the warranty - unless they found evidence to suggest that the charging slot on the phone was damaged accidently by yourself. Failing that you will need to pay a repair shop to fix it. Charging wireless is still a viable option though.
